Adult Program Policy

• Seaford Library/School District Residents ONLY on the first day of registration. Non-residents may register the following day.
• Programs that require a fee, refunds will only be given if the patron gives a 24 hours’ notice of cancellation from the program date OR a replacement can be found on the waiting list.
• Out of courtesy for the programmer and the library. PLEASE BE ON TIME.
• If you cannot attend a program, please contact the Reference Desk or Kristen at 516-221-1334 x3210. We often have a waiting list for programs and would appreciate being able to let others in if you are unable to attend.
• If you cannot attend a craft class, there is no take home kit.
• All payments must be given before the program.

REGISTERING WITH A LIBRARY CARD.

Starting on February 1st, 2026, a valid Seaford Library card will be required to register ONLINE for Adult Cooking and Craft programs. Library card MUST BE in good standing (not expired or fines over $5). To sign up for a new card, please visit the Circulation Desk with a valid driver’s license or other identification with a photo and one of the following: a current residential address utility bill, credit card bill, current car registration, insurance card, property tax bill, mortgage statement, bank statement, typed lease, a landlord’s notarized letter, or school identification. To renew a card, please bring a valid driver’s license or other identification with a photo. A $5.00 fee will be charged if your card is lost.
