Join us as we head to the Broadway Theatre in NYC to see The Great Gatsby, the dazzling musical adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgeraldās timeless novel. Set in the summer of 1922, The Great Gatsby follows Nick Carraway, a young man who moves to Long Island to work in the bonds business and becomes neighbors with the mysterious Jay Gatsby, an eccentric millionaire famed for his extravagant parties. Beneath the glittering celebrations lies Gatsbyās singular hope of rekindling a long-lost romance with Daisy Buchanan, Nickās married cousin who lives just across the bay, setting the stage for a story of longing, illusion, and heartbreak. Seaford Library/School District residents only on the first day of registration. Each person on line may register for an additional person. First come, first served. Space is limited. Please make checks payable to the Seaford Public Library. Registration begins Thursday, March 19 at the Reference Desk.
